Mark's message: Friday 730am 18May2012. Going to be partly cloudy today, but clearing later...... High today around 56, WNW 4-6ft @ 8-10 sec's with morning WNW winds 5-10mph. Later, winds may pick up to 15mph. Water temp at 54, and a minus low tide was at 6a, high tide at noon. Last night, Emma and I went for a bike ride on the beach.... beautiful night for it..... but, on a separate email, I will show what we found, along with the rant...... Forecast for Cannon Beach : Sat: WNW 3-4ft@13 sec's with light NE winds, minus low at 6:35a, 46/63, mostly sunny and 20% chance of any rain. Sun: WSW 2ft @ 15 sec's with light SE winds, minus low at 7:10a, 53/61, partly cloudy and 30% Mon: WSW 2-3ft @ 15 in the am, building to 4-5ft later, with SSE winds 5-10mph, minus low at 7:45a, 51/56, clouds and 60% Tues: WSW 4-5ft @ 12 sec's with light SW winds, 48/55, clouds and 60% Wed: W 4ft @ 15 sec's with light WSW winds, 47/54, clouds and 60% Thurs: W 3ft @ 15 sec's with light WSW winds, 48/53, clouds and 60% Weekend is looking great for the longboards.......
